Volunteer at Olive Children
At Olive Children, learning grows through relationships between children, teachers, families, and the community. Volunteers bring care, presence, and curiosity into children’s everyday experiences, supporting children as they explore, create, and grow.
By simply being present reading together, helping with activities, or offering a warm smile volunteers help create a safe, caring environment where children feel seen, supported, and encouraged to learn with confidence.
Why Volunteer With Us
As a volunteer at Olive Children, you may support classroom activities and projects, read stories with children, help prepare learning materials, or share your own skills, culture, or language with the community. No teaching experience is required what matters most is patience, respect, and a genuine love for being with children.
Safety First
To ensure a safe and supportive environment for all children, volunteers complete an application and orientation, follow school policies and confidentiality guidelines, and work under the guidance and supervision of our teaching team. We value safety, trust, and professionalism in every part of our community.
Who Can Volunteer
We welcome parents and family members, college students studying Education, Psychology, Child Development, or related fields, as well as community members who enjoy working with children and supporting meaningful learning experiences. Volunteers come from many backgrounds, and each brings something valuable to our community.
