Olive Children Foundation
Olive Children Foundation is a registered 501(c) non-profit educational organization based in Fremont, CA. We envision a world where access to educational opportunities is more equitable, regardless of socioeconomic status. Our mission is to provide high quality programming to children in K-12 from the surrounding San Francisco Bay Area, with a focus on those that come from disadvantaged backgrounds or areas.

Founded in 2010, we launched our first after-school youth leadership program in Fremont. Since then, we have developed and implemented dozens of programs, ranging from our Preschool to Elementary school, to our year-round high school research facility. Proceeds from these programs are directly reinvested into our surrounding communities, enabling us to offer the same high quality programs to even more students. One of our primary tenets is that access to education should not be contingent on socioeconomic factors.

Over the past decade, Olive has served thousands of children, preparing them to be the leaders of tomorrow through innovative, hands-on educational programming.
Community Service
“Not all of us can do great things. But we can do small things with great love.”
― Mother Teresa
Olive Children Foundation was founded with the notion that nobody is too small to make an impact, and no action too small to make a difference. And it's this notion that underpins our commitment to community service. Over the years, Olive has participated in both local and national programs, giving our kids the opportunity to give back. Through service, kids learn the importance of giving bak, teamwork, and making a positive impact, laying the foundation for a lifetime of compassionate action. A few of our efforts are listed below:

-
Volunteering at the local shelter: We organize volunteer days with local shelters, most recently at Abode Sunrise Village in Fremont, CA. Our kids discover the value of community contribution through dedicating their time and energy to serving others.
-
Homebuilding in Mexico: We partner with DOXA, an organization that serves Tijuana through homebuilding, education, and creating community. Since 2014, we have organized numerous trips for Bay Area families and high school students, building over 30 homes. Over 250 people have been involved through our organization.
-
Sponsoring Children: We have worked with World Vision for many years, currently sponsoring over 30+ children all over the world. We hope that our contributions can help reduce global inequities in education.
-
Financial aid: We provide thousands of dollars worth of scholarships per year to students from underserved communities so that they can attend our programs.
