At Olive Children Foundation, we strive to foster imagination, creativity, and responsibility in inspiring the next generation of professionals, scientists, engineers, and citizens. Our goal is to bring about a new sense of excitement for science and a love of learning in the younger generation, regardless of ethnic, geographic, or socioeconomic boundaries.

What is it?

An affordable hands-on Science Fair program designed to immerse students in Grades 5-8 in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math). Full and partial need-based scholarships are available.

What’s covered?

Participants will learn about the scientific method and research methodology by designing, executing, and disseminating a research project in their field of interest under the supervision of professional science staff and high school volunteer-mentors.

Science Fair

The project will cumulate in the Fremont & East Bay STEM Expo wherein students present their research and posters to parents, mentors, and peers.

Participants will also enter their projects to the 2019 Alameda County Science Fair.
